Work completes on Energy Skills Centre

Canham Consulting have recently provided structural and civil engineering services for the new £11m Energy Skills Centre at East Coast College, Lowestoft. We were appointed for the duration of the project, providing support from initial conception right through to completion. “Canham Consulting really understood our needs as a client and the constraints and challenges of the project. They brought a wealth of knowledge and experience with them, consistently offered valued and well-considered advice, and were always prepared to go the extra mile to find workable solutions to inevitable problems. “It was a joy to work with the Canham Consulting team and I have no hesitation whatsoever to recommend them. In fact, East Coast College have since appointed them to work on a further capital project,” said East Coast College’s project manager, Adri van der Colff. The new state of the art training facility has been created for students interested in the energy, engineering and maritime sectors. It offers a well-equipped and inspirational environment for higher-level students, apprentices and those already in work. The new centre has been introduced to improve the students job prospects, and ultimately contribute to the region’s continued growth in the renewable energy sector. More information about the project is available on Our Work pages.
