Canham Consulting were appointed to oversee the reinstatement of a Grade II listed building following a significant fire in one of the upper levels. The property had been subdivided and consisted of two commercial units to the ground floor with residential units above.
We initially arranged the emergency structural safety inspections to clear the site and make it safe before creating a specification and drawings for the reinstatement. Due to the age and shape of the building a 3D scanner was used in order to produce drawings as accurately as possible.
We acted as Contract Administrator and Principal Designer in accordance with the CDM Regulation 2015 throughout the project. This ensured the project was successfully delivered within the tight timeframe.
