Our inaugural awards were held on 21 December, to celebrate our staff and their achievements during the year.
Many congratulations to the winners, who were voted by the staff:
Employee of the Year
– Jack Powell
(Structural Engineer). Jack has excelled in every aspect of Structural Engineering during 2016, working efficiently and producing outstanding designs.
Most Improved Employee
– Tom Sharp (Technician). Tom joined us straight from College, and has quickly learned new skills in a variety of Engineering and Surveying aspects. Tom’s progress in such a short time is testament to his work ethic and positive attitude.
Most Innovative Employee
– Daniel Brook
(Modelling Technician). Dan has taken on the mantle of 3-dimensional modelling and has produced a plethora of complex, impressive, interactive models on a range of projects. See our article on BIM in the industry
– As a bit of fun, we asked our staff to nominate their comedy moment of the year. The runaway winner was Ben Dawson
(Chartered Civil Engineer), for his impressive repertoire of Barn Dancing moves!
– Tony Rose
(Associate). Tony has shown amazing commitment to his fitness during 2016, completing a variety of marathons and triathlons.
Many thanks to all our staff for nominating your colleagues, and for taking the time to enjoy each other’s successes.
We now look forward to a well-earned Christmas break (the office is closed from 23 December, opening on 3 January), and to what promises to be a busy and exciting 2017!
