CCL was initially involved with this structure when it was damaged in storm
force winds. We advised the emergency services on public safety as debris from
the roof meant that the adjacent trunk road and surrounding areas had to be
closed.
After the storm we subsequently assisted the owner in the design and remedial
scheme for the building, producing drawings and detailed specifications to
replace the roof covering.
CCL also acted as Party Wall Surveyors to facilitate the contract works in accordance
with the Party Wall etc Act 1996. In addition, we acted as the CDM -Coordinator for our
client, working closely with the relevant contractors to comply with Construction Design
Management Regulations 2007.
